CANDLE CARE TIPS
Let's get the most out of your candle, yeah?
We all love to smash through our candles around here, but in order to get the full burn time from yours, try not to burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
There's a ritual involved in lighting a candle, so allow yourself the time to light up with intent. At times you may need to give the charred tip of the wood wicks a flick for a super clean burn. You might want to give that crystal clear glass a little wipe out for pristine ambience.
For the best burn experience, always allow your Jay’s Candle to burn long enough each burn so that the wax pool reaches the edge of the glass - create that delicious wax pool! This is vital to the longevity and performance of your candle. If your candle has tunnelled, we know what you've done... we can spot it a mile away. Prevent tunnelling so your candle will burn flat and last longer and you won't need to email us.
And after you spend 4 hours burning luxurious fragrances into your space, don't forget that we have lids accompanying the candles - always - for a reason! To preserve your newly fragranced atmosphere, simply replace the lid to extinguish the candle - no soot destroying your blissful atmosphere...

CANDLE SAFETY
Before each use, always assess to see if your wood wicks needs attention - trim or flick the charred remains from your last burn... take that little bad boy out of your jar and activate your fragrances in a clean wax pool.
Stop burning your candles when only 1cm of wax remains at the bottom of the jar for safety and optimal performance... we're here waiting for your next order!
And of course, basic safety:
- Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface.
- Never leave it unattended.
- Keep it out of reach of children, pets, and flammable materials like curtains.
To ensure longevity and consistent fragrance please do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
Be good to your candles, and your candles will be good to you...
